In a gold mine, taking memories alive, come here shine
In the gold days, conversations got away, oppression
In the gold light, where you can’t stare away
The only constant question that remains, are you sure?
You caught me rushing all them away, I’ll be sure
And then they called me permission but I teach all day sick
We go play but won’t exert the heart away, all this caves
In the gold mine, a confession awaits
The only constant question that remains, are you sure?
You caught me rushing all them away, I’ll be sure
And then they called me only son, but my wall hasn’t become
And they called me so many codes but my cell only fell
The only constant question that remains, are you sure?
They caught me rushing all them away, I’ll be sure
DAIISTAR is a lot of fun. I first heard them at Austin Psych Fest before Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. My husband and I were so impressed, so I made sure to remember the band name. Tracemaker is the song that got our attention as we were waiting for BRMC. I love the sound and vibe of DAIISTAR. Michelle May
Shoegaze and soft psychedelia hold hands on this mellow Canadian release which features some subtly great lead guitar. Bandcamp New & Notable May 19, 2017
A slow drip of Tropicália-infused psychedelia from New Orleans rock outfit Blue Basin: balmy one moment, aggressive the next. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 22, 2022
Never get tired of watching GNOD live. a ferocious blend of feedback, astonishing riffing, bleeding guitars and feedback so aggressive you have to take a step back. This great album is slightly more experimental though! jonezyboy
