As a boy, clutching faith down to the bone
I sulk through the days wishing you had me alone
But I can’t change your mind, I wouldn’t try to tell you so
I won’t ask you to repair the mood taking shape
Soft as can be, head on my chest
I would rather be on this bed than out with the rest
When you read my mind, lost in the time we spend awake
Collecting the scene breathing the clean, calm cool air
Whisper now who’s your most favorite around
Tell me in a beat, bumping teeth, playing the sounds
What else is there to consider you the best in town
Would you take my hand, leave them in sand, heels to the ground
DAIISTAR is a lot of fun. I first heard them at Austin Psych Fest before Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. My husband and I were so impressed, so I made sure to remember the band name. Tracemaker is the song that got our attention as we were waiting for BRMC. I love the sound and vibe of DAIISTAR. Michelle May
Shoegaze and soft psychedelia hold hands on this mellow Canadian release which features some subtly great lead guitar. Bandcamp New & Notable May 19, 2017
A slow drip of Tropicália-infused psychedelia from New Orleans rock outfit Blue Basin: balmy one moment, aggressive the next. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 22, 2022
Never get tired of watching GNOD live. a ferocious blend of feedback, astonishing riffing, bleeding guitars and feedback so aggressive you have to take a step back. This great album is slightly more experimental though! jonezyboy
