Had a better soul, had a better mindstate
Had a better life, had to get a clean slate
For the next four years I’ll now, I’ll be calling it my way
With a little soul, with a little passion
Help me forget right now, I’ll be right there in tow
And I’ve been pushing hard, I’ve pushed lately far too long
And I don’t know where I belong
With another soul, with another mindstate
I can get along, I can have a clean slate
Though we’re so deep right now, throw a little warmth here my way
With a little cold sensation
Though we’re so deep right now, I’ll be right there in tow
And I’ve been wasted hard, I’ve pushed lately far too long
And I believe we are alone, come along
DAIISTAR is a lot of fun. I first heard them at Austin Psych Fest before Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. My husband and I were so impressed, so I made sure to remember the band name. Tracemaker is the song that got our attention as we were waiting for BRMC. I love the sound and vibe of DAIISTAR. Michelle May
Shoegaze and soft psychedelia hold hands on this mellow Canadian release which features some subtly great lead guitar. Bandcamp New & Notable May 19, 2017
A slow drip of Tropicália-infused psychedelia from New Orleans rock outfit Blue Basin: balmy one moment, aggressive the next. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 22, 2022
Never get tired of watching GNOD live. a ferocious blend of feedback, astonishing riffing, bleeding guitars and feedback so aggressive you have to take a step back. This great album is slightly more experimental though! jonezyboy
